Repeat prescriptions
Patients with long-term illness can be issued with a repeat prescription. If you are one of them, and wish to order a repeat prescription you can do so in a number of ways:
- The quickest way is by using our online prescription service
- You may drop repeat prescription requests at reception or in the box on the wall just inside the entrance to reception.
- We can process your repeat prescriptions by post.
- To request a repeat prescription by telephone please call our dedicated prescription line.
Please note the following when requesting repeat prescriptions:
- After a set period of time, or number of prescriptions you may be asked to make an appointment for a review of your medication with our prescribing technician, or the practice pharmacist.
- If your treatment changes then please take any unwanted medication to the pharmacy. Please do not bring them back to the surgery.
- Prescriptions can be collected after 2pm two working days later (see table below for guidance).
